Our solution offers a central system capturing correspondence from all clinical systems and delivering documents in preferred format, working off patient Hospital Number common across all the Trusts clinical systems.

The web portal allows patients to view letters online, and they can choose to be notified by email when new correspondence becomes available.

All supporting literature and documents are presented on the web rather than being physically printed.

When a letter needs to be sent, our solution can capture the patient’s correspondence preferences from your clinical system to ensure the preferred NHS AIS (accessibility information standard) format is selected.

Accessibility features of the web portal include:

  • Text to audio conversion, with MP3 file sent via email to recipient

  • Email delivery with body content in ‘easy read’ structure

  • Elect to receive correspondence in a large font to aid readability

  • Printed correspondence can be printed on yellow paper for people with learning disabilities or visual impairment
