It’s time to treat your WFH heroes
Although the Government has said that restrictions will be lifted and life for people in England is ‘very likely’ to be able to return to normal from the 19th July, many people will continue working from home (WFH). For many people WFH is a big adjustment and far from ideal – especially for workers that are used to working face-to-face with their colleagues, and benefitting from regular social interaction, input and support.
The negative impact of working from home and not having regular contact with colleagues can include feelings of loneliness, low self-esteem and isolation. It can also have a detrimental impact on living arrangements and sleep, which is why a timely reminder that your employees may be out of sight, but they are not out of mind, can do wonders for mental and physical health, creativity and productivity.
